5 Easy Ways to Get Plumper, Fuller Lips

Fuller lips are all the rage these days, but not everyone’s blessed with them. Thankfully, there are some things you can do to get bigger lips without having to undergo injections. Take a look at these five ways you can get the lips you want:

Method #1: Exfoliate and Use Oils and Spices
  • First, take a spare toothbrush. This will be used to exfoliate your lips, so go for one with hard bristles.
  • Apply your choice of lip balm on the bristles. In the video, Michelle uses Rosebud Salve. Vaseline or petroleum jelly also work.
  • Brush your lips using a circular motion for two minutes, then wipe off the excess with a paper towel.
  • If you want fuller lips for more than an hour, use a combination of olive oil, lip balm and cinnamon powder. Cayenne powder can also be used as a substitute for cinnamon.
  • Make sure you apply either powder on your wrist first to eliminate the possibility of allergies.
  • Alternatively, you can grab the bliss Fabulips Pout-O-Matic Lip-Perfecting System, which brushes your lips automatically and comes with its own lip scrub.
Method #2: Overdrawing
  • Reach for a lipliner in a shade closest to your natural lip color. Make sure it’s sharpened.
  • Do a close-mouthed smile to flatten the surface area of your lips.
  • Take your lipliner and use it to outline your lips, just slightly outside your natural lip line. This technique is known as overdrawing.
  • Once done, fill in the rest of your lips with the same lipliner.
  • Apply your choice of lip balm on the center of your lips to give them a fuller, three dimensional look. You may also use a nude lipstick instead.
Method #3: Use a Dermaroller
  • With even pressure, swipe a dermaroller across your lips vertically, horizontally and diagonally.
  • Apply your choice of serum, oil or lip-enhancing product.
  • Optionally, use a collagen mask, like the Satin Smooth Ultimate Lip Plump Mask, instead.

Method #4: Lipliner and Nudes
  • Take your favorite concealer or a flesh-tone lipliner and fill in the center of your top and bottom lips, going a little over your lip line. Michelle uses a combination of NYX Wonder Pencil and MAC Lip Pencil Liner in the video.
  • Using your finger, blend out the edges to create the illusion of bigger lips.
  • Finally, apply a nude-colored lip gloss, like the BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss, over the top for a natural look.
Method #5: Use a Lip Plumping Enhancer
  • Reach for a lip enhancing tool to promote blood flow, leading to plumper lips. Michelle uses the FulLips Lip Plumping Enhancer.
  • Use water to line the opening of the tool for better suction.
  • Pucker your lips, press them into the tool, and suck out the air.
  • Leave in place for 10 seconds before blowing the air back inside to detach.

As you can see, there are plenty of ways you can achieve fuller lips without having to under the needle. Try out these different methods to determine which one works best for you. You’ll have plumper and more kissable lips before you know it!
