Find Out Your Eye Shape—By Answering These 4 Questions

Do you know your eye shape? Knowing your eye shape is important for determining which style of eye makeup will look best on you. Learn which shape you have by answering the four questions in this video:

Here are the questions you can use to determine your true eye shape.

1 – Does your eye have a crease?

The crease is the indentation at the top of your lids.

If you answered No, then you have Monolid eyes

If you answered yes, then…

2 – If you put a straight line across your eye, does your outer corner look like it’s pulling up or down?

If you answered Yes, Up, then you have Upturned eyes.

If you answered Yes, Down then you have Downturned eyes.

If your eyes don’t seem to pull up or down, then…

3 – Is your crease visible?

Some people have a layer of skin that folds down over the eye crease, hiding it from view.

So if you answered No, then you have Hooded eyes.

If you answered yes, then…

4 – Are the white of your eyes framing your iris when your eyes are opened normally?

Iris is the colored part of the eye. “Framing” is white above or below the iris.

If you answered Yes, then you have Round eyes.

If you answered No, then you have Almond eyes.

Not that you know your eye shape, you’ll be better able to choose the makeup look that’s best for you.
